THE IRON BIRD
A Merry song, a merry song
I sing to the iron bird in the sky
So short it looks, but yet so long
Its passage announced, with a thunderous cry
Oh! YES it's a plane, oh! No a jet
A fighter jet, seems like a rocket
Leaves kids to argue its kind all day
To fly one day, each child would pray
A wonder indeed, how you float in air
But yet in water, so quick to sink
A double truth my head can't pair
But true, I cannot but sit and think
With wide spread arms, but still can't hug
Flying the world, wide and far
Helping travellers go thus far
For my love for you, I sing a merry song!
