In this moment
My heart skips a beat
My chest closes down
My bloody red cheeks
I can feel the heat
A thrilling expression
Of a miraculous progression
Finally out of the friend-zone
At this moment I'm heart attack prone
A new adventure
With the one most desired
She's a visual pleasure
With a charm unable to acquire
A thought that brings my insecurities
To the point where I ask for assurity
I need to know what she's thinking
Before our ship starts sinking
Her words are all I want to hear
She's left me at the pear
I wish I could ask why
My hearts died
Years gone by she still in the back of my mind
I just want to forget our time
I've seen her around
She looks down
She is experiencing heart ache
My soul trembles like an earth quake
She'll be my friend
Hopefully that won't end
I promise never to give her reason
To commit to her and never commit treason
I'll be by her side through her pain
I won't allow her to mess with my brain

Event though there's no commitment
