In our village
Look at the rice starts yellowing in our fields
Sparrows teach their children to fly
The peasants sucked his smile
Waiting for the harvest
Young girls are responsible
Flocked to help the parents, keeping a naughty cheeks in the rice fields
they know, life is struggling
besama building their small family country
they are far from the hustle and bustle of civilization
they live in the embrace of affection
(II)
in our city
Look at the many people who are twisting
Make a living for a bite to eat
They count the days
Waiting for the dense back attached
Young children are being squeezed
Hired to eat
But not a few who have to work alone
To survive from death
They are alive in the hustle of the city
They embrace a hope that somehow comes
All day long, the night their hearts cry

Desa dan Kota kita
(I)
Di desa kita
Lihatlah padi mulai menguning di sawah kita
Burung pipit sendang mengajari anaknya untuk terbang
Para petani mengulum senyumnya
Menanti panen raya
Anak – anak perempuan muda tanggung
Berduyun membantu orang tua, menjaga pipit yang nakal di persawahan
mereka tau, hidup itu adalah berjuang
besama membangun negara kecil keluarga mereka
mereka jauh dari hiruk pikuk peradaban
mereka hidup dalam pelukan kasih sayang
(II)
di kota kita
Lihatlah banyak orang – orang yang berbantingtulang
Mencari nafkah untuk sesuap makan
Mereka menghitung hari
Menanti pekat yang kembali melekat
Anak – anak kecil diperas badan
Dipekerjakan agar bisa makan
Namun tidak sedikit yang harus bekerja sendiri
Untuk mempertahankan hidup dari mati
Mereka kesempian dalam hiruk kota
Mereka memeluk harapan yang entah kapan tiba
Sepanjang hari, sepang malam hati mereka menangis
Bertanya dimana keadilan.
