Sinking ships in the distance fall,
As the sky does in a rainy night.
All around you the darkness clouds in,
And smothers you with affection.
Silence.
Death has wrought it's wings anew,
And life springs forth from the old world's ashes.
My mother once said that in the end there will be nothing,
but everything all at once.
I now know this to be true.
A dark figure rises from the ashes of the old world,
Following the light of day,
Smothering the light of heaven.
The world is his, and that's all there is to it.
Now die young soul, and be reborn.
Only life awaits you.
