For all poets, old, new, young or old the PDC3K contest run by is stimulating and thought provoking. The dice below were used to create my poem:

Mystery Woman
Your presence at the far side of the room
Draws my eyes like the tide magnetised to the moon,
Do I gamble in the hope of striking gold at the end of this rainbow?
Could you be Juliet to my Romeo?
Have I been struck by an arrow from Cupid?
If I asked you to dance would you think me stupid?
Is it possible that you could be the apple of my eye?
And could romance blossom like a flower before the end of night?
But these thoughts are useless without the courage of words
The worst thing that can happen is I fall on my sword.
So I'll cross the room brave and bold
And let's see if together we have futures untold.
