From (1 of 100):
I'm going to try to challenge myself, and this is the very first one. I am going to try to write 100 Poems in 30 days (essentially, I'm trying to pay for a Birthday Gift for my wife and this is how I want to pay for it). Anyway 100 Poems in 30 Days... should be something to see. I just hope I can come through with good poetry that people enjoy.
Here you can see 15 of 100.
Now to the 16th in this series... let's make some money so I can buy her an even better gift!!
Waiting For The Wrinkles
Spend time the easy way
and miss out on the good things,
cast a spell to find true love
and hope that your heart sings...
Signs and wreckage 'long the way
that shows you how to reach,
too late you find the longing within
and all the lessons to teach.
Waiting for the longest time,
you shall now refrain...
time stands still and wrinkles disappear
as you feel the pain.
Lo and 'round the world sees
a heart through wrinkled eyes...
if beyond the Looking Glass
you see the binding ties.
The heart does want what it shall need,
a spell that's not a spell...
now it's up to you, my friend,
for truest Love to tell.
