Travelling through the road known as life:
My weary soul demands rest, yet the time is not ripe,
The way to go is long and narrow, the path looked so blurry,
I need to take it slow and not be in a hurry.
So many pitfalls on the way, can't take off my eyes:
On the road that looked so dreary, must be careful of the lies,
Strenghtening my will, is a must for this journey,
With traps at every steps, I must never tarry.
Happiness and pain, is my constant companion:
Life's many regrets often joins in the reunion,
Yet I must carry on and let them tear off my flesh,
To remove the bindings, I must discard this leash.
So far, how many times have I utter those words?
I've seen so many things of those different worlds,
Of endless broken souls, of empty worlds they wander,
I cannot help but sigh at the sight and take a gander.
Those souls that had given up the journey of life:
Trapped in the harrowingly long and boring cycle of strife,
Not knowing where to go, living pointless days of sorrows,
No directions to point and lead, nothing but broken arrows.
The day that we are born, we are destined to walk:
To walk the road of life, to get away is nothing but empty talk,
So one cannot just leave this long and narrow road,
One can only move with care and carry life's heavy load.
