One small ripple
In a pond
Can spread
And linger long
A touch
Or tender word
May reach
A darkening night.
Dispell an anguish looming
Or shed a ray of light
An act
Of sudden kindness
A look of warmth,
A smile
Can melt a soul
in mourning
Relieve one burden
for a while.
How much will it cost
To care for just a bit
And cast away a demon
By vanquishing it's nest?
A ripple on the waters
A human basket test
Take this dare to share your gift.
