POHI PROJECT : A REACHOUT TO PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF NIGERIA.

Product of Help Initiative (POHI), embarked on a reachout to a public school in Akwa Ibom State, the southern part of Nigeria. Our aim was to make these kids happy in our own little way. We went as a team, headed by Hive account@joshuaetim on May 31st, the last day of the month. What a better way to end the month.

We contributed SBDs to get stationeries, snacks, drinks and school uniform materials for the kids, and also refreshment for the teachers. Thanks to steemit for making this possible. At our arrival, the kids were elated to see us.The environment was quite clean, but seeing the kids broke my heart. Some of them were not properly dressed, some without school sandals. What would be the future of these kids, coupled with the poor educational background?

The kids were made up of primary 1-6 pupils, and they were separated in two classrooms. Hive account@joshuaetim, Hive account@lordjames and Hive account@annieben spoke with the kids and they were quite attentive. I hope they make it in life with the little knowledge given to them. We took pictures with them and shared what we brought for them. I was happy doing this, and I wouldn't stop reaching out to kids that need help.

The steem blockchain has indeed touches lives via the community. We have been been able to reach out to people with the rewards gotten from the platform.
