Wanted to spend a few minutes talking about our goals and vision for the TalkingPoint Tribe. TalkingPoint is a Tribe focused on discussion of Politics, News and Current Events. Where everyone can share their point of view, but not all ideas are rewarded. The site is located at talkingpoint.co, the tag is #point the token is POINT. The Initial Airdrop performed by the TalkingPoint Tribe was based on LEO holdings, we need to get some some POINT in people's hands and get the site active. Call it a Beta or even an Alpha.. All future drops will be done based on who is active and engaged in helping grow the tribe. Moderation, Development, Content Contributions, Art, Marketing and PR are all ways to get involved. This is the way many businesses function, by rewarding those who contribute to its success.
For the first quarter of 2020 we will focus on polishing the look of the site, building a team and a clear vision. By second quarter we hope to be focused on external promotion of the Tribe. For this early phase we will publish plans and results Quarterly. Expect the publication of our first quarter goals in January.
We all know people love to passionately discuss politics and it is done everywhere, which gives the Tribe a huge market potential. Much of the current discussions are focused on the same hot topic issues. While we encourage that, also we would like to reward unique ideas and viewpoints and intelligently stated views. We hope that people will want to join the conversation and sign up.
Unpopular opinions maybe downvoted, but they can not be erased, this is the power of the Blockchain.
In January we will hold some community meetings on ideas, progress and promotion of the Tribe.
Things to look forward to:
- New Branding, Art, logos etc.
- Quarterly reports for Investors
- Published Goals
- External focus
It takes a bit of time to put some of this together, but having goals and accountability is key for any project and would like to build this Tribe in this manner.
A common question we are already hearing is regarding Communities and SMTs and whether or not the tribe will migrate over and currently the answer is "We don't know". We will consider our options and they become available.
