Pokemon Japan - Fossil Cards In Upcoming Abyss Eye Set
More Abyss Eye Japanese cards have been revealed. From a gameplay perspective, these new cards are interesting. The new revealed cards are fossil themed.
Note: The original post was an error. I had to make an edit.
Relicanth

This Relicanth is a water type. For one Energy, the Fossil Beatdown has 10 base damage and it does 30 more damage for each of your Benched Pokemon with Antique in its name.
The maximum damage this Relicanth can have 160 if you have 5 Benched Antique Fossils on your Bench.
Antique Skull Fossil

Antique Skull Fossil is an Item card that turns into a Pokemon if you Bench it.
This does not attack but it is needed to evolve into Cranidos. If this Fossil is in the Active Spot and takes damage from an attack from your opponent's Pokemon, then you put 3 damage counters on the attacking Pokemon.
Cranidos

Cranidos is the Stage 1 evolution of the Antique Skull Fossil. The Fling Off attack requires 2 Fighting Energy to deal 70 damage. Your opponent switches their Active Pokemon with 1 of their Benched Pokemon (if there is no Knock Out).
Rampardos ex

Here is Rampardos ex. This Stage 2 Fighting Pokemon has 330 HP, a two retreat cost and Grass weakness.
The Rampaging Hammer attack requires 2 Fighting Energy for its attack. It does 150 base damage and you deal 150 more damage during your next turn to the opponent's Active Pokemon.
Destructive Headbutt may be used once during your turn if Rampardos ex is in the Active Spot. The ability allows you to flip a coin. If Heads, then you discard 1 Energy from your opponent's Active Pokemon.
Antique Shield Fossil

Antique Shield Fossil is another Fossil Item card that becomes a Pokemon when it is Benched. The Armor Protection ability only works if this is in the Active Spot. All of your Pokemon takes 10 less damage from attacks from your opponent's Pokemon.
Shieldon

Shieldon is the Stage 1 Metal evolution of Antique Shield Fossil. The Smash attack for 1 Metal Energy and 1 Colourless Energy does 50 base damage. You also discard 1 Energy from your opponent's Active Pokemon.
Bastiodon

Bastiodon is the Stage 2 evolution of Shieldon.
The Hammer In attack is not great. You need 2 Metal Energy and one Colourless Energy to deal 160 damage.
What makes this Bastiodon stand out is the ability. Ancient Bulwark only works if this on your Bench. You prevent all damage done to your Pokemon by attacks from your opponent's Pokemon that have 2 or fewer Energy attached. This particular ability will greatly appeal to those who like wall/stall/control type abilities and decks.
Fossil Excavation Site Stadium

Fossil Pokemon have not been popular for the last few years. It is not easy to get Fossils into play and their attacks are not great. With this Fossil Excavation Site Stadium, each player during their turn can search their deck for up to 2 Trainer cards with Antique in their name and put them onto their Bench. (Shuffle deck afterwards.)
Notes
Fossil cards were not played much competitively. It was hard to get them out in play. The Fossil cards are treated as Item cards and then treated as Pokemon when you Bench them. With the new Stadium card, it is easier to get them into play.
Some of the Fossil Pokemon attackers are interesting. The hard part is the setup.
Thank you for reading.
