It's an interesting situation, to be honest.
Understand, I have rarely had an unpleasant time. However, I do understand very clearly my table image and how to use it.
Fellas, it's time someone told you the truth; you're almost never original. Sorry/not sorry.
There are the dudes who flirt and belittle. Small, condescending comments like 'oh, yeah, I see you won the other day! How great so many people are on a nice little streak'.
The guys who flirt and then get mad when I donk bet the turn and check raise the river because I flopped the nuts. These guys sometimes get nasty really quick... 'fucking bitch, you suck. You don't even know how to PLAY. did you even know what you HAD?!?'
Are you picking up what I'm putting down?
Poker isn't the only game being played on the tables.
The best times I have ever had in my poker herstory have come when I have gotten to know the other players. When we become a community. Don't get me wrong, the flirting never stops - thank the gods! - however the dismissive and arrogant belittling usually does.
Something really interesting is happening over at - the Steemit Poker League. @Tuck-Fheman started a team play game. We picked teams, three to each, and we compete in poker tournaments. Each teammate gets points depending on how well they finished the tournament.
It has become my favorite community.
And we're doing some pretty amazing things... my teammates and
have come up with #pokertoday, a place everyone interested can come and see how to play and what is going on in the league.

We've morphed into something even bigger, even more game changing. Check out Chief's post about it ...
