People say that poker is a game of chance, and they don't play. I disagree.
I say, it's a game of strategy. Knowing your opponent, and getting a feel what they are thinking is a great rush. Like chess, but calling them out on their hand and watching their eyes quiver when they have been duped.
A good player plays with their chips stack, and leads the others into that battle.
When at the final table, you can reap the rewards if you are patient enough.
Good players understands this and will capitalize from others greed.
For me, it is an ultimate game of waiting and being the Tiger in the forest to pounce on it's victims.
Legends like Phil Ivy and Dan N. are masters of strategy. Don't for forget Phil Laak. My hero.
The world of Texas holdem is by far a great way to enter the minds of your opponent. And dominate them lol.
Long live holdem....
