The media on the Iberian Peninsula agree that it was not expected that defeated charges of Adam Nawałka and Senegal (1-2) in the match of the H group of the football mundial. Spanish and Portuguese journalists point out that such a poorly playing Poland is a surprise.
The daily "As" in its online edition indicates that the biggest stars of both teams - Robert Lewandowski and Sadio Mane - did not shine in the Tuesday match of Group H. He points to anti-heroes in the "White and Red" series, which he describes as "sad and gray".
"Cionek and Bednarek turned out to be unexpected Senegalese allies in their victory (...) ensured by the first accidental goal and the second comic" - wrote the portal "As".
The private TV Sport TV is also a critic of the charges of Adam Nawałka. As one of the few positives, he sees a well-executed game in the second half with three middle defenders. However, it does not spare the bitter words of the Polish defensors at both goals for Senegal.
