Democratic congresswoman and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told reporters, “I think I’m worth the trouble,” in response to concerns about her continued leadership. Despite a Republican sweep in the recent special elections, Leader Pelosi does maintain widespread support from Democrats.

Pelosi was re-elected as House Democratic leader last November by a vote of 134 to 63. This was a decisive victory but demonstrates division in the Party about their future direction.
