People not only in Serbia but also in other countries on Balkan need help to fight against growing totalitarian measures against people and property, in order to make possible for "investors" to take everything they like, including our land and houses.
So far, I think that other countries do not feel the same way as we here because they don.t see immediate danger; the thing is that we are the main target now and tomorrow will be some other territory. Beside that, consequences that will occur if Rio Tinto finish their moving in western Serbia, will be suffered by other countries too, about which I made post here.
No need to take it for granted, everyone can do their own research, but so far, I did not find any positive review about RT - exactly the opposite.
What is happening these days in parliament and on the streets is breaking constitution and laws on many levels.
First, corrupted politicians tried with advertising, people did not fall for that. Even "commercial" against RT Serbia is not for sale was made, but national television refused to emit it.
Then, pressure on people has risen, intimidation; new laws are being adopted and one of them allows expropriation of land and property for every space that is seen suitable for some reach psychopath to take it for whatever.
Imagine someone comes to your house and says I want to buy it...sorry, I like being here, not for sale... ok then, we will take it with force, law allows us.
Great, isn.t it? I mean if you are reach piece of... khmm...
Protests, organized as blocking of roads, looked like this today: highway blockade in Belgrade, which went relatively peacefully, unlike this event , held in another town, where politicians sent an excavator accompanied by masked hooligans armed with long rods, to clear the road for buses that were heading to party conference held by The One - tyrant president.
Some might say blocking roads is disturbing for a lot of people...yes, that is the idea; we all should go out and protest for the sake of our health that is already, and will be much more, devastated by polluted waters, land and air. There were petition, different sort of protests, lawsuits but they all failed.
Rio Tinto is live example of companies described in dystopian stories/books/movies; one that is above any law and any country, that can easily make politicians to agree with its demands (though, not much persuasion is needed, most of them gladly sell their citizens for a handful of dollars).
Two our towns and health of their people are already destroyed when Chines companies came, claiming they will work by the environment friendly standards, ofc. For more info search for testimonies of people from Bor and Smederevo.
BTW, China is now the richest country in the world; just sayin`...
This is why we need help, only power of great amount of people can stand up against monsters like RT; any kind of help: sharing methods that worked for you, sharing posts, writing your own posts about the topic, informing as much people as possible.
Also, would be nice if Serbian diaspora could help with some sort of pressure on media to give bad publicity to gov and AV.
If we, common people, don.t stand up against black/bloody companies, green ones and green energy will continue to be just a sugarcoated story from the mouth of politicians.
