Too many people believe in the promises of politicians because they need to have faith in their minds in a future pleasing to their desires. Projection of fantasies.
If they stopped to think for a moment about what drives an individual to pursue a political career, where the main engine for winning voters (their promoters and supporters in their climb to power) is to tell them what they want to hear, if they imagine for a moment that they are in the shoes of any of them, they would realize the deception in which they live by their own choice.
A politician in power does not think about people and their well-being, as the latter wants to imagine by listening to his hypnotic speeches.
Like any human being, he prioritizes his own subsistence, his own well-being. And in the case of these unproductive parasites, professional liars, manipulators, criminals, much worse. Being part of the government, his priority is not to provoke events that make him win temporary enemies, that the system that shelters and sustains him in this short cycle in power does not suffer imbalances and thus be able to make the most of the opportunity reached. And finally, that his life project of living for others be crowned with a seat of impunity in the legislature.
If that means that during his stay in the country he will be able to draw up forced economic control projects that, in the short and medium term, stretch the catastrophe announced by the rational unheard of, support it as one who supports a sick person in a coma by injecting multiple medicines, knowing the final outcome but lying to his or her relatives that he or she will be saved, that will make a politician.
Let's not make waves, let's lie all we need to make the boat sail smoothly. It is not necessary to apply realistic measures to improve the population and yes, measures to support us in our journey and to enjoy a privileged welfare thanks to the ignorant idiots who believe us, who put us here and keep us- Richard W.
