Did YouTube shadow ban this video because it argues against gun control talking points? I can’t say for sure, but it went from 20,000 views in a day to a few hundred the next day, which is not in line with the well-distributed, organic tapering off I’m used to on my videos. I don’t make claims of certainty without evidence, and it’s definitely possible that the video was embedded in an article that received a lot of views (and then the video’s views abruptly cut off when the article’s traffic dropped)…
Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if this video got the shadow ban hammer as I’m not the only YouTube to experience this type of viewership pattern. Hope you enjoy this collaboration with Justin King of The Fifth Column.
