hello To You All,
I was perusing youtube and came upon this video by Lionel Nation on the new categorizing by the leaders of the non-heterosexual community, it is a very thorough video into the meaning in the descriptor and provides all the information you need to fully understand its meaning, unlike many of the people within the community itself. There is an interesting definition described within that I believe provides the impetus to refrain from any further promotion of identity politics based on sexual preference as within this definition is a category of Demi-Sexual. Demi-Sexuals do not commit to a sexual relationship unless they have formed a strong emotional connection. To me and as Lionel points out is very similar to a misogamist concept of a relationship and mostly adopted by heterosexual individuals, and to some degree applies to all Christian peoples who promote non-sexual contact until they are married.
So I must applaud the LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP community for moving forward in the inclusion of all peoples into our society. This shows that by being tolerant of each others personal choices regardless of how we may feel about them and as long as they do not interfere in our personal lives, can bring together peoples from all walks of life, no matter their race, creed, color or sexual preference. Everyone in society is a special individual created by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by His will we were given "Free Will", and because of this we are blessed with the ability to choose the manner in which we live our lives. Each individual is responsible for their actions and if they are secured in the foundation of Christ then they will truly be tolerant of those who do not follow His path.
