As the philosopher Countess Luann once said, money can’t buy you class.
But when we’re living in a moment in American history when our public servants know less about dignity than our Real Housewives, it’s inevitable that fiascos that require apologies from folks like Louise Linton are going to happen.
Until this week, Linton was best known as the blonde bimbo who self-published a dubious and swiftly debunked 2016 memoir of her youthful gap year in Zambia. Much of the book has been shown be distortions, fabrications and outright lies. We already know a lot about Ms. Linton's moral's and upbringing from her self-published book in 2016.
In June 2017, Linton wed the US Secretary of the Treasury, former Goldman Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin.
On Instagram Monday, Linton posted a glamour photo of herself and her spouse stepping off a government plane in Kentucky, where her spouse was scheduled for a meeting on tax reform. “Great to @Kentucky!” she captioned, adding the hashtags “

.”
This was a massive muck-up committed by Louise Linton. The 36-year-old posted a Monday night Instagram photo of herself stepping off a military plane onto the runway like she was someone who mattered. “Great to @Kentucky!
,” she wrote, as if
were a useful hashtag and Kentucky were a desirable daytrip location. Then Linton tagged her
pants,
, and
“sunnies,” as if any being in the universe gave a crap about the treasury secretary’s wife’s pants.
Lousie Linton is a trailer trash bimbo wanta be. That Steve Mnuchin chose to marry.
And that tells me, very sadly, that we won't be getting permanent tax cuts from Steve Mnuchin and the Trump administration in the first four year term.
Their margin of error is exactly 2 votes out of 52 to get anything passed in the senate.
Anyone that has such a deep lack of judgement and understanding of human nature to choose to marry a self absorbed airhead like Louise Linton, is not going to be able to finesse winning a vote in the senate where he can only afford to lose only 2 out of 52 votes.
Trump record of achievements is not going to grow in August or September.
My scorecard on the Trump record reads as:
1) get a new conservative Supreme Court judge. Check.
2) repeal and replace Obamacare. Fail.
3) remove most of the Executive Order overhead that Obama put in place to slow and stall the economy. Result has been some of the best, fastest economic growth and growth of optimism in 8+ years. Check.
4) permanent tax reforms to further stimulate the economy. Fail.
5) build a wall on southern border to stop the flow into the US of illegal drugs carried by illegals. Fail.
6) drain the swamp in Washington. Clear out the deep state traitors, so that the country is under control of elected officials, not under control of unelected faceless bureaucrats that act in their own self-interest, not in the American peoples self interest. Fail
7) launch a program to begin restoring America's rusting and faltering infrastructure. Fail.
8) restore military integrity, clarify mission, focus on winning not nation building, support all the men and women in law enforcement and first responders, and fix Obama's dysfunctional Veteran's Administration. Check.
9) Build political bridges and a bigger tent to invite and contain a broader coalition, to expand his support above 49%. Begin to heal the racial divide that Obama ginned up and amplified in eight years of divisiveness. Fail.
On my scorecard, Trump is 3 for 9 on his major ticket objectives. He still has time to work on the other six items. But I have little faith or confidence that Steve Mnuchin has the political or people skills to get the permanent tax cuts done before the next election in 2018. Very regrettable.
Trump's behavior makes him an easy person to dislike in many respects.
But his agenda has a lot of positive ideas and a lot of positive direction, which can Make America Great Again.
The leftists, Socialist and Marxists are doing everything they can to torpedo this outcome.
Please upvote if you were surprised by the smooth segway I was able to pull off in moving from the white trailer trash bimbo introduction to closure with a Trump scorecard. Surprised y'all on that one. LOL.
I'll give a full upvote to anyone who demonstrates by your reply that you have read this far, AND provides a substantial comment with your own opinion on this post.
STEEM On!!
