| "Mock them, denounce them, and trash their ideology, but don’t trample on their rights as Americans."--Jordan Schachtel |
As one of my early supporters, Simon Fraser University's Dr. Norman Swartz observed in 1995 during an interview about white supremacists, 'The only way to counter this racism is to reply immediately, and forcefully, with the truth.' Not censorship, not violence - truth.
Schachtel gets it, and he shares his wisdom in, "4 ways to shut down the fascist authoritarians for good" - here's the first:
1. Let them speak
Silencing speech is antithetical to the founding of this nation. Government censorship of speech based on wholly subjective matters is a terrifying proposition — one that can be harnessed by a future leader to impose fascism in America. Sunlight is the time-tested, best disinfectant to hateful speech. Treat fascists like the inbred members of the Westboro Baptist Church. Mock them, denounce them, and trash their ideology, but don’t trample on their rights as Americans.
That, dear reader, is exactly why our natural rights were defined with such clarity by our founding fathers - Let them speak! I urge everyone to read Schachtel's complete article, which is posted on Conservative Review. It explains exactly how to deal with fascist morons.
A Message for the Fake News Industry
The National Rifle Association has been releasing a series of aggressive, no punches pulled video ads that has the legacy media's collective panties in a bunch. The leftist liars responded by doing what they always do: distort, misrepresent and lie. Here's the NRA's most recent response:
Grant Stinchfield puts Adam Goldman, David Weigel, Bill Maher and the lying fake news media on notice: “We will fisk every story you write if that’s what it takes. F-I-S-K. Fisk as in fact check. And we will do it with a clenched fist –F-I-S-T–of truth… In the end, you can threaten us, slander us, malign us, even report us. I make a vow to you. We here at NRATV will never stop fighting. And I promise you, we will not lose.”
Perhaps Messrs Goldman, Weigel and others of their ilk should try using dictionaries, to avoid further embarrassment.

If you do not yet understand how the leftist media deliberately distorts the news to suit its twisted political agenda, consider Patrick Poole's expose of CBS News host Norah O'Donnell, who posted a commentary on Twitter in which she distorted about the number of fatal attacks by Islamic terrorists relative to the number of fatal attacks by "right-wing extremists."
Poole dissects O'Donnell's bovine excrement with precision:
The first clue that you're being manipulated? O'Donnell begins counting terror incidents AFTER the 9/11 attacks, the most lethal terror attack in modern history. Understandably, people grinding an agenda to push "right wing" terrorism as some great threat to Americans HAVE TO exclude 9/11 to make such a point.
Also, note that O'Donnell refers only to the number of incidents -- not how lethal they were.
Why is that? Because Norah O'Donnell is trying to avoid having to say this: Since 9/11, Islamic terrorists have killed CONSIDERABLY MORE than "right wing" terrorists.
Then there's Cokie Roberts on Sunday’s This Week on ABC...blaming President Trump and Attorney General Sessions for "sending signals" that encouraged neo-NAZIs to violence in Charlottesville.
Watch the clip embedded within the article -- notice that none of these so-called "journalists" devoted a single second to condemning the left-wing extremists: "CrimethInc", the "Revolutionary Abolition Movement", "Refuse Fascism", "Rise Up" and other openly fascist organizations that pretend to be "anti-fascist" while they beat people in the streets, douse them with urine and attack them with pepper spray.

Following the horrific domestic terrorist attack in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, the media was on the hunt to cast blame on someone and lump them in with the racist that carried out the attack. And during Sunday’s This Week on ABC, commentator Cokie Roberts found her target in President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. According to her, they were to blame because they were sending silent signals to white supremacists to empower them.
Two of AntiFa's masked cowards (Charlottesville)
Far-left agitators are calling for an escalation in tactics following this weekend’s violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville.
Many of the same groups that have organized violent demonstrations in Berkeley, California and elsewhere are now calling for an aggressive response to the violence in Charlottesville. Far-left “anti-fascist” (or antifa) figures are advising agitators to do the job that police won’t: shutting down “fascists” and preventing them from organizing.
No, what I saw Saturday was the equivalent of the Bolsheviks vs. the Mensheviks, the National Socialists (Nazis) vs. the Communists, naked evil vs. naked evil. A pox on both.
What a lot of other people also saw on Saturday, though, and this includes members of the national media, is police officers standing idly by as violence within their line of sight went unchallenged.
Fake statistics die hard, especially when they're being pushed by the so-called "real news" cartel.
Take, for instance, CBS News host Norah O'Donnell, who claimed on Twitter earlier today that so-called "right wing" terrorism is a greater threat than Islamic terrorism
After the violence in Charlottesville, Va., this past weekend, many have rightfully sounded the alarm about the dangerous rise of identity politics in the United States. This ugly conception has no place in the mainstream discourse. Here’s the best way to tackle the extremist rhetoric spewed and violent actions carried out by members of these groups.
As for me, I learned how to deal with the David Dukes. Criticize anyone who gives them a platform and dignifies them. If the David Dukes preach their venom, condemn them promptly (make a long story, short), and then ignore them, forever. If they commit any crime, throw the book at them. Recall that: (a) We believe in free speech, even for Communists, fascists, Nazis, racists, radical Islamists and other collectivists*** of the Left; over the weekend, Congressman Dave Brat explained to the media how to define collectivism. (b) We repudiate their hatred and bigotry and would aggressively thwart and prosecute their violence. (c) We calibrate, lest we give these scumbags more than their fifteen minutes of fame.
