Collusion!
As my Jewish friends might say, "It is to laugh."
Let's review the bidding, shall we?
First, the humiliating defeat of Hillary Clinton at the hands of a narcissistic, loud-mouthed carnival pitchman did not go down well with Hilla the Hun.
Almost immediately following her embarrassing repudiation by an angry American electorate, Harridan Hillary concocted her ridiculous tale of Russian "collusion" with the Trump campaign.
Democrats, in lockstep with the leftist legacy media, have vomited accusations, innuendo and insults towards the Trump campaign, President Trump, and anyone else who refused to kiss Hillary's sorry ass.
"Collusion, Collusion, Collusion" Mashup
As anyone who follows American politics already knows, absolutely no evidence of such "collusion" has yet to be found.
FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved
controversial nuclear deal with Moscow
Enter The Hill's John Solomon and Alison Spann, who published the blockbuster exposé headlined above:
Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.
Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.
They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill. "Bribery" isn't a word to be thrown about casually. The fact that Bill Clinton doubled his speaking fees (to $500,000.00 a pop) and was paid that to speak before the Russian bank Renaissance Capital was surely mere coincidence, as was the fact that more than $145 million flowed from various benefactors of the Uranium One deal into the Clinton Foundation. Nuttin' to see here, folks. Nope.
The Fun Begins
Are you ready for the interesting part? Good. Let's take a look at who was actually involved in this disgraceful affair and its subsequent coverup:
- FBI Director (at the time) Robert Mueller
- Subsequent FBI Director James Comey
- Then-U.S. attorney Rod Rosenstein
- Then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe
- Then-Attorney General Eric Holder
- Bill Cinton
- Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
- Then-President Barack Obama
President Trump's Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from Matters Russian, and so it seems unlikely to investigate this Democratic Party coverup;
Mr. Mueller was appointed - by now-Assistant Director of the FBI Rosenstein - to investigate claims of "Russian collusion" against the Trump campaign. Rosenstein should be immediately fired, and certainly cannot be trusted by the President to deal with an investigation - and neither can Mueller - and Mr. Comey has been summarily fired by the President, but has not been charged in this or any other matter. FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe should also be fired - NOW - and certainly cannot be trusted to investigate anything, let alone Democratic Party collusion with the Russian government. AG Sessions cannot head up the investigation, and neither can Messrs. Rosenstein and McCabe.
Who, then, can Trump turn to within the Department of Justice to pursue such an investigation?
I would like to say that the legacy media is all over this story, but I can't. As of this writing, it isn't.
Anyone want to bet that this story will be quietly buried?

A day earlier, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, vowed at a public hearing to “get to the bottom of this issue.” This was as The Hill reported that the FBI had evidence as early as 2009 that Russian operatives used bribes, kickbacks and other dirty tactics to expand Moscow’s atomic energy footprint in the U.S. -- yet the Obama administration approved the uranium deal benefiting Moscow anyway.
The Hill’s release of information on the collusion between American corporate interests, U.S. government agencies and Russia seems to be all-new material. The text outlines the failure of the U.S. government under Obama to take account of information generated by the FBI on attempts by Russia to gain a financial advantage in the U.S. nuclear industry. “The Swamp” is reflected in the matter of Rosatom at every angle from which it can be viewed. While Rosatom has been in the news before, nothing has brought it to the level of significance seen in these primary documents and the specificity of the charges found in the text of the article. Deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein should be summarily fired, along with anyone else who touched these papers above the level of the FBI. The responsible individuals must be dragged into the court system where their actions can at the very least become part of the public record.
It is now clear to anyone who filters through all the media chaff on condolence calls that the FBI and Department of Justice allowed a criminal conspiracy to proceed, endangering national security but enriching the Clintons, and have been covering up the evidence. The two people responsible for targeting the special counsel on Trump and Russia are directly responsible for the cover-up.
The Hill this morning broke what could be a very big news story, if anyone is willing to follow up on it. As is often the case with these kinds of stories, it bears watching if the reporting falls apart somehow, but as of yet, it seems there’s almost no pushback out there. You can see why Democrats would not be eager to talk about this one...
That didn’t take long. News that the Department of Justice may have hidden information from Congress about a Russian bribery-extortion ring involving nuclear materials got a swift response from Senate Judiciary chair Chuck Grassley. After first peppering Attorney General Jeff Sessions about the allegations raised in The Hill, Grassley sent a letter to the attorney representing the FBI informant inviting her client to testify about the operation in a committee hearing...
It turns out the Obama administration knew the Russians were engaged in bribery, kickbacks and extortion in order to gain control of US atomic resources — yet still OK’d that 2010 deal to give Moscow control of one-fifth of America’s uranium. This reeks.
If evidence of bribery, kickbacks, extortion, and money laundering in the Uranium One affair are not grounds for a special prosecutor assigned to investigate Hillary Clinton, what is? Rosenstein and Mueller, by their silence on this investigation hidden from Congress and the American people, are unindicted coconspirators in Hillary’s crimes and should be terminated immediately.
