The greatest lie ever told was that politicians wield more power than the people. If they did, we wouldn't need to vote and they wouldn't need to campaign.
I came across a quote today which said "the elites will never give you the education to challenge them."

I had to ponder real hard about what I had just read. We feel we need them, the blunt truth is that they need us even more. Why is that? It is because without our support, they can never get to that seat of power. It is just sad that those of us who should the thinking towards the right direction of liberating the country are still in love with their oppressors.

You see political thugs who think they're on the payroll of these politicians. Unbeknownst to them, the politicians are actually the ones on their payroll. Something so little as a thumb print is what they spend billions canvassing for. They need it but make us believe we need them.

Yes, we need representatives at all levels, leaders to do right, but we must not forget the first duty of the leader is to serve.
The battle has been split between the Atikukates, the next level and those taking it back.

Until we start asking the real questions like how do these politicians aim to achieve what they said they'll achieve, then we have not started.
You see friends turn on friends to empower tyrants who make us feel hopeless for almost all their service tenure, only to turn back and give out scraps for our real power.

If it wasn't beneficial, they wouldn't be willing to die on it, if it wasn't profitable, they wouldn't spend billions on campaign, election or reelection just for our votes. If we were not the deciding factor, they wouldn't remember us.

Let us remember the truth; we didn't beg them to lead us, they came forward to beg us to allow them represent our collective interests not theirs. If we put them there, then we can remove them. Don't be easily bought. As we go out to vote, let is vote for those who will do the right thing, let us vote and remember that the upcoming generation looks up to us.
