I have trouble understanding the way President Trump thinks sometimes, and I figured having civilized conversations about interpreting some of his comments could prove valuable to all those involved.
Here is a set of 3 tweets that the President tweeted on September 25th, 2017:
" Texas & Florida are doing great but Puerto Rico, which was already suffering from broken infrastructure & massive debt, is in deep trouble..
...It's old electrical grid, which was in terrible shape, was devastated. Much of the Island was destroyed, with billions of dollars....
...owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with. Food, water and medical are top priorities - and doing well. #FEMA"
To me, these comments seemed to be quite harsh towards Puerto Rico.
How do you interpret these tweets?
