Trump got dissed by the Iranian leadership earlier this week. Iran's President Rouhani said the White House (or Trump indirectly) was "afflicted by mental retardation". This was in response to the latest sanctions imposed on Iran by the WhiteHouse.
Trump didn't like that. Instead of justifying the sanctions with some bullshit rhetoric alone, Trump decided to play the macho bully card some more (which is what sanctions are really). On Twitter, Trump outright said an attack on "anything American" would be met with "obliteration"*.
....Iran’s very ignorant and insulting statement, put out today, only shows that they do not understand reality. Any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force. In some areas, overwhelming will mean obliteration. No more John Kerry & Obama!
It's lunacy to think America can attack anyone else as they please, but if anyone else attacks them, such as for violating their air space with a billion dollar spy drone, then the response is "obliteration". That's the madness of the ongoing American supremacy.
Not only that, in Trumps emotional state, he found it befitting to boast about the superiority of the US military and how much was spent in the past two years:
Iran leadership doesn’t understand the words “nice” or “compassion,” they never have. Sadly, the thing they do understand is Strength and Power, and the USA is by far the most powerful Military Force in the world, with 1.5 Trillion Dollars invested over the last two years alone..
So America (or Trump) imposes their strength and power on Iran through sanctions, a covert act of war on Iran. Then accuses Iran of only understanding strength and power while boasting about American military strength and power. Some seem to think bragging about a hefty $1.5 trillion spent on the military in 2 years alone is something to proud of. Go figure.
Do most people support these expenditures, even if they accept taxes as legitimate? If that isn't something that should get people to realize how "we the people" don't matter in many important aspects of what happens in the world, what will? The rulers rule and "rehabilitate" (conquer) other places, and we pay for it all to happen. Vote who you want, the larger pieces move without your consent, grinding through time in a gradual motion that makes it less poignant to perceive.
