These days, wrong think can get you censored on the internet and potentially jailed in Canada. But what if I told you it can now hinder small business and non-profit organizations?
There's a program in Canada called the "Canadian Summer Jobs Program", which gives government funding to non-profits and small businesses so that they may provide summer jobs in their communities. This year, for the first time ever, they've changed the parameters of who may apply for these funds. They have to support abortion, as well align their beliefs with gender identity and expression as it states in the revised version of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
You can read the overview and eligibility for the Summer Job Program here:

While in Nova Scotia during his town hall tour, Trudeau said that all religious groups should still apply - leaving out that they may not be approved due to their belief system.
“Of course, you’re more than allowed to have whatever beliefs you like. But when those beliefs lead to actions determined to restrict a woman’s right to control her own body, that’s where I, and I think we, draw the line as a country. And that’s where we stand on that.”
So in other words, the Prime Minister of Canada agrees Canadians may have the right to freedom of speech and thought, just as long as they don't act on it.
