May be this will stop the politicians from lying?
If you haven't already heard, this young man Marcus J Ball is trying to prosecute Boris Johnson for the lies Mr Johnson told during the Leave campaign. Now, it doesn't matter which side you are on. This prosecution is not about whether UK should stay in the EU or leave. It's about LIES!
Should politicians be allowed to knowingly tell lies to the electorate?
I really think this guy has a valid point. He says "When politicians lie, Democracy dies!" How do you know what you can trust and what you can't? The state of the world is looking rather grim so I am clinging on to this little bit of hope. May be this will be the end of all the lies these politicians tell people without any repercussions!
