I cannot believe my eyes at this very moment. As it turns out, Illinois is going to begin taxing electric vehicle owners a considerably hefty sum, because of the gas tax revenue that they are missing out on. If you don't think that's ridiculous, then I don't know what to tell you.
The title of this very post is just a logical as the move, but of course nobody would accept such a thing, yet here we are doing somewhat the same. Well, as you can imagine the terrible administration that our governments are famous for have created this financial crisis.
So, just to put this in plain english, a state that already has very high taxes, some of the highest in the country, is increasing it's taxes even more, because they are running out of money? How is this real life? How is it that they can't fund the pensions?
Oh, but don't worry, everything is going to be fine, it's all for the greater good...
I hope people get to the streets and protest, because this is totally unacceptable.
