In a new installment of fear porn, the pundits who oppose Biden have been screaming to the wind that his radical agenda includes the banning of red meat by the year 2030. And wow, the clicks.... the clicks.

War on common sense
It seems to me that we've slowly but surely traveled to the edge, to the end of common sense. Why do we jump the gun and believe this idiotic things? I mean, yes, I can come up with theories, I know it's designed to be addictive to consume fear porn, but am I asking for too much here?
It's really simple how these stories come about. They do what I can only describe as hulk leaping to come up with conclusions. They begin by pointing out some facts, and then jump a mile away from the target to make sure the fear porn factor lands.
As you might guess, the whole thing has been debunked, and FOX News had to issue a correction. A correction I'm sure, that not many will see, so we can take it for granted that a big chunk of the American population will begin to pile stack frozen burgers.
Let's give this a try
To make sure our political biases don't get the best of us, and to make my point a little clearer. It doesn't matter what we are talking about here, we could do hulk leaps in any field of discussion it seems.
Fact 1:
Cryptocurrencies are designed to cut out the governmental middle man. In a true cryptocurrency, people can transact without permission from a centralized entity
Fact 2:
POW cryptocurrencies like BITCOIN require lots of power to operate
Hulk LEAP:
Crypto people are destroying the planet by using up so much energy to run their networks. They want no regulation because everything they do is related to drug trafficking and tax avoidance.
You see...
If you are not informed, the two facts might seem like good enough pillars to prove the hulk leap. But, there lies the detail. This only works if you are lazy to research, if you are not informed.
Conclusion?
I'll quote the late George Carlin and see myself out.
