If this happened to you at a poker table, any reasonable-minded person would call it a fix. Why would they do that? Because it is a fix!
Most Democrats aren't the Democrats we want and hope for. Although this is a congressional race, this conversation is a great example how the fix plays out on the more local level. The insiders pick their horse and then get their media connections to support that horse. Other candidates of good heart, and often of good ideas, get short shrift and the system perpetuates itself.
