I had a very good and busy weekend at the Green Party Conference. So good I now have the flu!
The weekend started with the leader of the Wales Green Party and we heard speech's from Amelia Womack Deputy Leader and Jonathan Bartley Co Leader.
This was my first ever conference and I had no idea what to expect. I found the plenery sessions interesting and enjoyed listening to people's views on motions that should or shoudln't be passed.
There were also a variety of talks and task groups such as Green Women, Disability Group, LGBTQIA, Wildfire and Habitats and loads more!
Steve Backshall a TV Presenter and Wildlife Lover was there too.
Other than Mr Backshall I think one of the most inspiring non Green Party speaker was Lord John Bird who is the founder of the Big Issue. He spoke fantastically I found myself wanting to listen to experience in life.
