The Eastern German city of Cottbus has been in the nationwide news in the last weeks because of several cruel knife attacks on locals committed by groups of refugees. The offenders were walking around the city looking for victims to attack. Among the victims of the attacks were for example a married couple which raised the anger by simply asking the offenders to open the way for them. Germans are increasingly fed up with muslim immigration which enabled the democratic right wing party AfD to narrow the margin in the polls to the second strongest party in Germany, the social democrats, to only two percent.
