Boris voted in by the British public has a deeply rooted resentment towards the people of the UK that he now gets to "dictate" over.
Not sure where you are from, but I can say I have spoken to many people from the UK, family included, that say the police have gone way too far in response to government "advice" re the lock down.
They set up road blocks to check if you were going for a ride or drive for "essential items".
Now I will get onto essential in a moment, but let that sink in a moment, does it not remind us of Nazi Germany in world war 2? I for one think so.

One woman questioned at a train station, who chose to not give her name, or state where she was going was took to court and all within a day. There is NO law in the UK to say you have to give your name, there never has been, unless suspected of a crime, and getting on a train as far as I understand has never been a crime.

How about that gent going to a store to buy paint, that is not considered essential for him to be decorating his home, how about if he was an alcoholic, and due to not being able to work, he needs something to do, to keep him away from the bottle.
And that old lady, who seems to be going to the shops far to often daily, as she could do it in one go. But how about if she just lost her husband to cancer, and they marked it down as covid-19, and she needs something to do to keep his death off her mind.
And that young man on his motorbike, he has been out on it 4 times today, how dare he, is it essential???? How about if he suffers from depression, and is now not able to see his doctor or his mental health worker due to this event (word pandemic avoided for personal reasons) and that bike is the only thing that keeps him from taking his own life.
Are they essential now?.
We only see through our eyes, our situation, we have no idea what anyone else is going through, how about we not be the judge and jury.
