There are mass protests all over the EU tomorrow.
Here the government decided to make it yet another lockdown from tomorrow to try to stop the protests here.
That has now become impossible for them to achieve after a high court ruling today.
Last year on 24th 10 there was a freedom rally in Warsaw. The police beat, pepper sprayed and arrested 278 people. Today the high court ruled those arrests illegal and dropped all charges against the protestors.
In summary they state thus "police detention of 278 people during the ′′ March for Freedom ′′ 24.10.2020 was illegal and unjustified, and that the government regulation cannot take away basic rights like the possibility of assembly and possibility of protesting, and in the highest form power and law is the constitution. Police will be drawn to consequences and compensation."
That ruling now sets a precedent for the freedom of movement and the right to protest from today onwards.
The people won, the government lost.
At times I lost faith during the last 12 months.
In the UK the courts are firmly in the pocket of politicians. Here though it seems not.
This restores some of my lost faith in Poland.
The UK have got it much harder, even the army is used 24/7 to keep the public inline.

Now back to that last headline above re vaccinations.
The EU has stated as above that is would be discrimination against unvaccinated to make travel impossible without the little prick (not Bill Gates).
But at the same time announced a vaccination passport, confused? You should be.
Like any politician worth his lying teeth they say one thing but do another.
I foresee legal challenges here at least with regards to any such idea. I also see legal challenges about any notion of a mandatory prick.
One thing that is on the peoples side here are the judiciary.
They have scrapped every fine for not wearing a mask, for not social distancing and now for protesting.
At least they are being consistent and siding with the public.
