Like every day I have plans and like every day something comes in between something that needs more attention.
I started painting. Weeks ago. The wood of the roof of the guesthouse.
Next is the front door, window frames (7), the gate and two more doors but I am running out of time. Summer passed by fast.
In between I organized a party for my daughter presents included and I try to fix walls.
The birthday presents I sent by mail on August 11, 2021. Till today there is nothing and I keep searching for it. Three different track and trace sites tell three different stories.
That parcel? Most likely it is sent back to me over 8 days ago. Nothing arrived here. I went to the post office twice today, called the head office and feel bitter. No birthday presents, no candles not even a birthday card. The box I paid for disappeared. The one who had to deliver it lied he did but no one signed for it and... He did not leave a message.
The thing is two weeks ago the same happened. Two sprays with Frontline ordered online disappeared. The shop sent it, the postman kept it and... gets away with it. Perhaps it's time to boycott post.nl which most likely isn't even Dutch any longer.
No refund, no trace of it.
"Did I help you?" the foreign lady on the phone asked me while I cried because my child's birthday presents are gone.
She apologized about six times most likely out of habit. It's not her fault (which I told her) but it's post.nl their policy that covers up for the thieves they should sack instead of paying for their crimes.
I do not count with a respond on my complaint. The past year too many parcels were stolen. For sure a lockdown and ordering online makes some people rich. Online you can easily sell what you do not need yourself.
