It's apparent that despite the vast amount of protests and social upheaval, we're still at a place in society where copious amounts of people are suffering at the hands of a few sociopaths. With the decades of post-1960s activism behind us the same wretched system remains. Could that system be crumbling? Perhaps. But there are no doubt several measures taken place by the Empire itself to maintain its power against tides of resistance. This includes surveillance, co-option, infiltration, and more methods aimed at handicapping large movements. In this series I will try to highlight some of these measures taken by our oppressors directed at movements throughout history, there's so much to cover so I doubt I will get to everything, but I want to try for the sake of awareness and maybe some education.
I'll continue to edit this with the corresponding blogs to this series I write over time.
