This week has been a good week. I am thrilled, elated and super excited for what the future holds. Do you want to know my secret? My husband has joined me on my Steemit adventure! Ok, this might not sound like much to you, but to me, it opens up a whole bunch of new opportunities, and I get to share them with my partner.

My husband and I do a lot together. We share a child, a marriage, we work together, exercise together, cook together and relax together. Up until a few days ago there was one thing where we were just not on the same level, and that’s Steemit. I have been an enthusiastic member and daily contributor to the blockchain for over a year now, this was my thing. While my hubby was happy with the extra money I was bringing in, he didn’t quite get my Steemit jargon.

But then a little switch went on, and out of the blue he wanted to join! Now, some might think that I should do certain things on my own, or have something for myself. But I’m not like that. My husband and I have been a team from day one, while not every day is perfect, for the most part we manage to run a home as a team, a business as a team and well, we run life as a team! So, when he said he was setting up an account, I was only too happy to give him tips and advice and set him in the right direction.

What does this mean for us? It means we have hit the road on a new adventure! We discuss articles and strategies together, we share upvotes and resteems and we teach other new things we have learnt. Most of all we have fun together! While our nights used to be spent watching TV, we now sit and “Steemit” together in the evenings, once we have put our two-year-old terror to sleep that is.

Now when I talk about upvotes, steem power and whales, he knows exactly what I mean! I don’t get blank stares anymore!  I have been waiting for him to get on board for a while now, and with some nagging and a whole lot of POWER OF POSITIVITY, I got him where I wanted him (wink wink).

So, on that note. Allow me to introduce my hubby, Hive account@begtodiffer – this year marks our 8th wedding anniversary, although we have been a couple for almost 13 years now. We started our lives as adults together, when we were in our early twenties we moved into our first home together, a tiny little flat where we had very little to our name. We then moved to a big city without having any jobs planned, so we started our own business! 8 years later our business is a huge success and things are going so much better than we had ever hoped for.

We are hard working and determined people, and this is why I am so excited to have him here on Steemit with me, because I just know that more good and positive things our coming our way!
