This was the old port of Philex Mining company, it is not just a normal port because it has the second largest generator in whole Asia. Copper from mining are transported from this port going to other countries like Japan and China. Decades ago the company decided to shut down their operations and everything was disabled, from mining operations to transportation. People lost their job and it became the subject of conflict during that time.
Today, after a decade this port became the the top visited place in Sipalay Negros. Everyone are free to visit the place and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the blue clear water and fresh air.
