Ok, take in all this beauty. But notice what was just next to it:
Porto is a city of contrasts. Next to the beautiful neighborhood of Clérigos lies an abandoned Rua da Vitória, with people doing drugs in hallways and loud prostitutes calling out for clients.
A few steps and you're in the clear again:
The city is very clean, however not everywhere well maintained; some buildings have just the facade, but are empty/demolished on the inside.
Colorful, yet washed down; touristic, yet let go..
