Hi everyone!
I haven't been around here much this week... I've been in some kind of painting trance. Anywho, I thought I would share this shot for 's Portrait Photography Contest. This round, the theme is Motion. I think it's an awesome theme as it's tricky to achieve a real portrait while your subject is moving.
I shot this during a session with a modeling agency where they had a whole bunch of new faces coming in ... I must've shot 12 faces that day. Anyway, this gal was super cute and a real trooper! She executed the jumping shots really well. It's really, really hard to look elegant and cool while jumping. She did a great job- so much so that she stayed in the light just right so my Rembrandt lighting pattern was maintained! Bonus!
