Portrait Contest Week 3, Entry #1: Jim in black and white

It's a new week and the 3rd challenge for Hive account@jasonrussell's #portraitcontest!!! All of my previous entries have been female portraits, so this week, I'm going to switch it up and submit some shots of a couple of my guy-friends.

These were taken on a cold, Missouri December night after a little drinking and a little music ;) We eventually talked Jim into getting in front of the camera for us.

Jim is a long time friend of ours and he is an excellent musician that plays a broad variety of music, ranging anywhere from punk to rockabilly to outlaw country.

This second photo isn't particularly sharp, but I still thought it conveyed some emotion, so I decided to use it.
