This is a photograph I took when I was in Amsterdam, Holland over New Years this year. The boy's name is Bram and I got permission from his mother to use the photo after taking it. I noticed him watching people on the street as they passed his house. He stood out to me because many kids are more interested in watching T.V. than observing people. I thought it was impressive that he showed an interest in other people so early in his life, and I think my photo captures this well because he is looking at me as I snap the photo. I also love the way the photo turned out due to the reflection in the window of Amsterdam's famous architecture across the canal.
