You hear allot of gloom and doom in this culture. But me, I'm Judish! I take a sad song and make it better!! Many religions have an apocalyptic hell fire vision of the future, but what about a positive apocalypse! I propose that! - Where everyone will be as blissfully happy like the cover of a Jehova Witness magazine! And turn the earth back to the Garden of Eat'n'!
What if we could completely reverse global warming! Stop the most evil polluters like oil and gas and the fashion industry and actually enjoy all the earth has to offer! People would ditch their cell-phone! and stop watching t.v.!!! No one would be interested in porno any more! They would be too busy in Permaculture gardens in their communities!
Yup the rosy future - no more war! No more whities saying all lives matter! White lies matter!! They would give all the land back to Native people worldwide! And we would learn how manage regenerative ecosystems. Mining would be banned. There would be no need for gizmos as we would take sustenance from our own hand!
There would be no more pejoratives in our language! That's how people talk to each other in heaven! No more self deprecation. No more people drugging and drinking themselves to death out of boredom!! In this star trek future there wouldn't even be money!!! Just lush gardens!!
So I will blog this idea again! See how this positive apocalypse could be manifested! Oh! I got the idea to re-tool society! Read the book - Tools for conviviality by - Ivan Illich. Some good ideas in there that could help this conversation start! Go!
