A view of Playa Blanca and the Hacha Grande mountain from the Atlantic Ocean. Playa Blanca is the southernmost town of the Spanish island of Lanzarote and the newest resort of the island. Ferries to Fuerteventura leave from the harbour frequently. Playa Blanca has numerous beaches, the best is Playa Dorada - the Golden Beach. The town is well worth a visit, with many shopping and eating facilities.
