Saturday.
Two long walks in the forest today. Unfortunately no kitty cuddles... another failed caturday. But the walks were awesome none the less.
I started the day with a calm and slow walk through a familiar section of the forest near by. The air still had a hint of the taste of the morning dew.
The afternoon walk lead me to explore a new section of the forest where I hadn't been before, slightly off the beaten path but not too far away... and to my surprise I discovered this amazing looking lake:
There's no established trail that leads here and the shoreline is not very accessible. As I pushed through the brushes to get an unobstructed view of the water I scared away a big flock of water foul.
I should come back here at a different time of the day when the light is a bit more exciting.
And I should really bring a better camera than my phone. There's definitely some potential to find an awesome photo or two here.
