Hello everyone, I'm Vera Nicole V. Gepitulan. 22 years old from Pinamungajan, Cebu Philippines. Currently, I'm a graduating student taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education at Consolatrix College of Toledo City Inc. Yes, I'm 22, but it's not reflected on my face and heightš.
Some of you might wonder where I got the name adamsale where, in fact, it is far from my real name. Well, it started when I was in Grade 10, we searched for a word that we can associate with water for our cheerdance competition since our section is Aquarius . And then as we dig deeper in the Internet we met the word Adams Ale which means unadulterated water, based on the presumption that the biblical first man Adam had only water to drink in the Garden of Eden. Since we came from special science class offered in our school, we became a block section. It means that my classmates in Grade 10 were my classmates since Grade 7 or throughout my Junior High School years. We've been together quite a lot, so we shared many memories together and a lot of firsts together. Eventhough we parted ways in Senior High School and college, we do still have communication eventhough it's not that quite often as before. Adamsale holds a special place in my heart to the point that even my hotspot password is adamsale. So if you saw me in person and you want to connect to my hotspot, you know my password already...jk
Growing up, I do love reading stories, may it be from online or books. I just love how it detaches us from the reality we are facing. As time progressed, I enjoyed writing. Hence, I joined our school publication in high school. But the category I chose that time is science technology because I am deeply fascinated with science, most especially with Earth Science. Because food is life, I do know how to cook a bit, but it's still a long way to go to be just as good as my aunt .
Ever since I was in Grade 4, I'm a big fan of volleyball, especially to Alyssa Valdez. I always make sure that I don't miss watching a single game of their tournament. During my early years of fangirling, I would cry if ever they lost in the game. But now I realize that in life you don't always win, those defeats will serve as a learning experience or a stepping stone to greater heights.
Some of you might know , she is my cousin. She and my aunt
introduced me about Hive while I had my Christmas vacation. They equiped me with some basics about it, but I will learn it better as I explore it further in the future. Aside from that, they told me that this platform (blogging) can help me with my studies. I can just be myself here and express my feelings through writing, which I usually do, but it's just in my notebook before. As I share my stories, we may have a lot in common that you can share.
Basically, the contents that you can expect from me is my journey as a Pre-Service Teacher. You will be with me as I work myself towards my dream of becoming an educator. Maybe some of you might be inspired by my experiences that you want to become a teacher, too. You will know me better as I continue sharing my stories with you here. This platform is perfect for people like me, who are more of an introverted person , and I'll have a safe space aside from my notebook and pen.
So I hope you will welcome me with open arms and support me as I start my endeavour here.
