Greetings!
A few days ago I started to test my nature deck in the daily play & earn instead of playing solo. During the test duration, I am also fine-tuning the cards of my deck based on the cards available in my collection which are all free, nothing is bought. In the aftermath, I built a deck that is strong enough to mount a comeback if all cards are drawn right which proves to be true because I made a crazy comeback from one of the matches.
This will be the second time that I am going to use my nature deck in the daily play & earn. This deck has a glaring downside though, it is a "slow starter". Which I think is a by-product of the combination of cards available in my collection. But it does not keep me from getting decent victories on my way to a decent 6/4 victory-defeat record.
Victory #1 - vs Deception deck
In all of the matches that I played in this daily play & earn I only used Selena's Mark as my god power. In this first match, I am lucky to improve my starting hand consisting of Untamed Regrowth, Arkonian Anteater, and Amazon Conscript. On my first turn, I am also lucky to draw Canopy Barrage. On my second turn I am still lucky by drawing The Hundt, a spell that deals direct damage to enemy creatures. On my third turn, I played Jump On! A card that gives three strengths and overkills to a creature.
Near halfway to the match, I drew Wildfire from my deck which is a powerful card that deals 1 damage to each enemy creature and gives +1/+1 and +1 regen to each wilf friendly creature. Another strong card that I drew from my deck is Guerilla Training which gives +1/+1 to a creature which proves to be the card that makes the match out of reach from my opponent.
Victory #2 - vs War deck
This match has to be one of the shortest matches in this edition of daily play & earn. My starting hand in this match is consisting of Nefarious Briar, Frisky Fox Pup, and Nightleaf Hunter. On my first turn, I drew a canopy barrage. I first played Frisky Fox Pup, a 1/3 confused card on my first turn.
My opponent did play any card on the first turn which is a scary situation because my opponent may be building up for a deadly combo. I took advantage of it and I played two cards, one Nightleaf Hunter and the other one Best Friends which summon two creatures whenever I got three creatures, after the turn I have now a wall of four cards on my board to control the match. And from then on I have absolute control of the board on the way to my second victory.
Victory #3 - vs War deck
I am going first in this match. My starting hand is consisting of Frisky Fox Pup, Neightleaf Warrior, and Canoy Barrage. On my first turn, I drew Tainted Trent which is a very good card because it keeps one card being drawn from my deck on each every turn. And just like from the previous match I first play Frisky Fox Pup, a 1/3 confused and ward card and I actually played two cards on my first turn, the other one is Nightleaf Warrior.
My opponent countered by playing two cards, one of them is a hidden card, and the other is a card that accumulates strength if alive after an attack. I was able to kill the other card, but the hidden card is left untouched. Halfway into the match, I was able to build a wall of four cards on my board which makes the control of the match.
While Tainted Treant is still alive it gave me Moonlight Charm, one of the strongest relics in the Nature domain. After I played Moonlight Charm the match has gone out of reach to my opponent giving me another victory in the bag.
Victory #4 - vs War deck
In this match, I am going first. My starting hand is consisting of Nightleaf Warrior, Grove Summon, and Canopy Barrage. I first drew Wildfire which is a very good card that deals one damage to each enemy creature and gives +1/+1 and +1 regen to each friendly creature in your board.
On my next turn, I was forced to use one of my mana gems so that I could play Vanir Lion, a four-mana card that gives +2 strength to a friendly creature to which my opponent countered with a card with a burn. Luckily, I've got a spell on my hand that deals direct damage to a creature.
Near halfway to the match, my opponent plays a frontline card with "Armor 1" and another card that accumulates health on each attach (if it stays alive). At this moment I've got 7 cards in my hand but I couldn't choose an appropriate card to counter the card with "Armor 1". But as it turned out, Wildfire and Battle Aurochs killed the card with "Armor 1".
Halfway into the match, I was able to play Nightleaf Prowler, a card that summon two more Nightleaft Prowlers. Then I played Tainted Treant which proves to be the card that makes me get control of the board on my way to another victory.
Victory #5 - vs Deception deck
I am always curious as to how my Nature deck would perform against a good Deception deck. So, this match is a test of the mettle of my Nature deck against Deception. My opponent is going first in this match. My starting hand is consisting of Tainted Treant, Bladefly, and Backsworn Protector. On my first turn I drew Canopy Barrage.
On my first turn, I was able to clear the board of my opponent using Canopy Barrage and Backsworn Protector. I next play Bladefly which summons two more Bladeflies making a will of three cards on my board. Near halfway, through the match, I was able to play Tainted Treant, a card that draws one card on each turn (if still alive).
Then I was able to build a wall of 6 cards on my board which proves to be the deciding factor on my way to another victory.
Victory #6 - a Mirror Match
Just like with Deception, I am also curious about how my Nature deck is going to perform against another Nature deck. In this match, I got the chance to see it. My opponent is going first in this match. My starting hand is consisting of Backsworn Ranger, Canopy Barrage, and Bladefly. On my first turn, I was able to kill the first card played by my opponent using Canopy Barrage.
Near halfway to the match, my opponent was able to build a wall of three cards against my two cards. Luckily I got Bladefly on my hand making me get control of the board. After I played Bladefly I was able to clear the board of my opponent which proves to be turning on my way to victory.
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
