Greetings!
A month ago I first attempted to plant bell pepper in a pot. You can check it in My First Attempt to Plant Bell Pepper in a Pot. After thirty days it is now time to transplant them. I have seen lots of people planting bell pepper from the internet and I took it as my inspiration in planting bell pepper in a pot for the first time.
I actually planted bell pepper in three pots and in a small land plot inside my vegetable garden. All the bell pepper that I planted germinated so as those in the land plot. I transplanted one pot beside our concrete walls, I gave the other one to my auntie living in another town, and the other one is the one that I am going to re-pot (transplant) using the same pots and some improvised pots.
Here are the bell peppers that I planted a month ago
In each of the pots that I planted the bell pepper, there are actually more than twenty seedlings germinated. I just choose the best-looking seedlings that I am going to transplant, as for the left-over I will give it to my cousins.
Since I only managed to prepare eight pots I am only going to transplant eight bell pepper seedlings.
Pots the I am going to use
After removing some of the bell pepper in the pot I shook them to loosen their roots of the soil so that I can easily separate them.
Removing the seedlings
One by one I separated eight seedlings then I dug 4-5 inches into the pots then put a seedling on it. A actually used the same type of black soil in my germination mix and into the pots where I am going to transplant them.
Planting the seedlings (the hole may look shallow, but it is actually about 4 to 5 inches deep)
Planting the seedlings
I just repeated all the steps in transplanting all eight seedlings into the pots that I prepared until they are all done.
After Transplanting into four pots
After transplanting all the eight seedlings into the pot I first secure them in a place where there are no strong winds. Here in my hometown, the winds are really strong during the months of December until the first weeks of February.
Finished transplanting
