A Pakistani friend of mine is collecting donations for 13 families in Pakistan. The families aren't self-sufficient and need donations. My friend used to provide for them before, but he fell short this month. He needs to raise 10,000 Rupees for them by the end of month.
My friend, Ahmed Affaf is a Quranic Researcher and part of a non-profit student organization "Kaar e Kmaal." They serve needy families throughout Pakistan. They mainly collect donations from students and spend them in the following domains:
- Schooling Fees for Needy Students.
- Monthly Food Packages for Families.
- Blood Camps for Patients.
- ...and more.
They can only receive money through Bank Transfer (IBAN) and it's challenging for me to send money that way. So, the only way I have to help is to spread the message.
The Families in Need
The families we're helping include ten widowed women, most of whom have children under their care, and are unable to help them alone.
And other three families lack the essential care for their household. One man has a paralyzed wife, and he can't keep working as he needs to take care of her.
Again, he needs to raise 10,000 Rupees for them by the end of the month. (About $35~ USD.)
