Hi! My name is Alfredo and I am a Colorado based landscape, nature, and architecture photographer.

I am originally from San Antonio in the Texas hill country. Because I lived in San Antonio with its rich 300 year history and culture, I primarily photographed the beautiful architecture in the region and had a small architectural photography business in addition to my main IT job.
The landscape photography options in Texas were fine but ultimately I decided to move my family to Colorado in 2019 for work and in search of more diverse landscape opportunities. There was just something about the mountains in Colorado that spoke to me.
I started photographing in 2010 and have visited a few areas around the US including Death Valley, Utah, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Georgia, and Maui. I would love to travel more but my IT job and family are currently my priority.
In 2021, my photography transformed into creating more expressive photography such as quiet scenes, abstracts, and minimalist images. I still love grand landscapes but I have realized the goal of my photography is to convey to you the experience of discovery of the common and uncommon. By common, I mean those scenes we pass by without a second thought. And by uncommon, I am referring to those moments where the light is just special or elements in a scene come together in a rare juxtaposition.
